Whether you're an experienced speaker, a speaker virgin or someone in between; whether you’ve been to countless Umbraco festivals around the world or you’re still new to community events – do you have an interesting topic you’d like to share with the community? Fantastic! Why not speak about it at Umbraco-Festival Deutschland 2019?

The latest news on v8, an introduction to Umbraco Headless, karaoke with Slave and Eagle… Well, UFD18 certainly was an extravaganza! It’s been a couple of weeks and with our big brother, Codegarden, in May, it’s definitely been some busy weeks as well. Today we want to share four things with you, you might not know about UFD18.

When in spring of each year hundreds of Umbracians travel to Denmark, it can only mean one thing: It’s Codegarden time! One of these travellers was – just like in the many years prior – the team of byte5. What experiences did the team make? Find out in our recap!

Once a year the German city of Frankfurt am Main turns into the centre of the Umbracoverse. This day was last Friday – when after months of preparations, the Umbraco-Festival Deutschland (UFD) invited both the German-speaking and international community to Frankfurt for the sixth time. Our UFD18 recap.

Martin Sandvad is the CCO of Ucommerce and while he is not a dev, he certainly is a full-blown Umbracian. At UFD, Martin teams up with Jens Josefsson – in their session, content teams up with commerce.

Jeavon Leopold is an avid core contributor who has gathered several MVP's in his shelf since he first started working with Umbraco eleven years ago. The technical director of British full service creative agency Crumpled Dog will be talking about responsive images for websites in his UFD session.

As the founder and namesake of Danish networking expert group, J. Boye, Janus Boye is all about knowledge sharing and networking. It's hardly a surprise, Janus will be sharing his knowledge on the future of CMS's with the Umbraco community at UFD.

There’s a lot going on these days in the office of byte5, host of Umbraco Festival Germany: Boxes are being packed, documents printed and details discussed. And in the midst of all this commotion, we want to take some time – time to thank our partners and sponsors for their support.

As the headquarter's first evern intern, Rune Strand made Umbraco history. Today the Dane is a Coach & Cloud Counselor at HQ. After having been keynote speaker at the German Umbraco festival twice, Rune has some new plans for this year.

Introducing Markus Johansson! At UFD18, the Swedish entrepreneur will talk about Umbraco Forms and how to use it with the package he built, Newsletter Studio.
